It’s serious enough when men rob men of that which is good, but the natural universe is the property of God clearly, marked with the ink of God’s directives and divine signature. Naturalism/moral relativism has neither science nor the good of humanity on its side.
John the Baptist introduced the coming Christ by calling the people to repentance. What were they expected to do? What is repentance? What is it not?
The "owes me" mentality has created a culture of takers and cheaters. What can we say of the damage to Christian faith when our energies are diverted into shortsighted pleasures and materialism? But, praise God, there is a solution for the ravages of entitlement!
You want friends? Sure you do! But be honest with yourself: do your friends cause you to do what is right? To square your shoulders and walk a different line than the corrupt society around you? Will you be that kind of friend to others?
The fine-tuned design of our solar system reiterates the fact that there is a Creator who formed this earth to be inhabited. Separation carries with it both a long history and an eternal future. The lifestyle choices of godly men have always been--and must continue to be--regulated by God's commands. ..."Be ye separate, saith the Lord" (2 Corinthians 6:18)
Pluralism is the belief that there is more than one kind of reality and more than one way that is right. Christians should not become involved in political lobbying to try to force toleration for Christian beliefs. The call of the Christian church is rather to proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ
What we do reflects our own desires and not what the devil, Mother Nature, or anyone else has forced on us. Let’s face it\: our actions tell the world who our owner is--the devil or Christ.
The Church is both an organism and an organization. It consists of one body of believers with Jesus Christ as the Head and the members of the body functioning as the Head may direct. May we cherish it and spend our lives in promoting its interests and in glorifying its Head.
